I won't forget the way you loved me
I won my office football pool this week, correctly picking 13 of 16 games AND knowing that the combined score in the New England/Kansas City game would be 52-ish (there are complicated rules behind this, a la the complicated rules each of the UFAs has for pong at UR). Let it be known that I now have $20 that I didn't have before.
I woke up this morning at a time with a six in the front (that's right: 6:57). All by myself. This is 18 minutes before my alarm goes off, and I usually hit the snooze a couple of times after that. So, this is really early for me. Good thing, since I have a full work day and then an 8 hour drive. Nothin' like getting up early before having to do all that. Of course, I did fall asleep around 10:15. But still, I wanted to sleep.
But now I have to finish packing and then put on the fabulous outfit that I chose to arrive in, hoping to wow everyone I run into on the way to New York.
So, I guess this is good-bye 'til Sunday.
