It was up and down, but it's ending strong.

When my dad called and told me he was planning to divorce my mom (still hasn't though)

I'd guess in bed, asleep

8) What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
got engaged! But I guess I only get one shot at that

I don't even remember if I made any! Next year: get in shape (I want to be a hot bride), try to relax!

Cousin Holly and, any second now, Cousin Jen!

Thankfully, no.

Mexico.

Oh, who knows. California and New York, I think. But I also traveled THROUGH some states, I'm sure.

16) What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting my dream job!

Staying at a job I hated for too long and letting myself get so hurt by it

oh, tons, I'm sure. Little colds and stuff, but I haven't really broken anything!

You see, this is how I know I waste money - I can't think of anything that fantastic that I've bought.

The soon-to-be better half.

My parents'. My former co-workers/manager

23) What did you get really, really, really excited about?
see, I'm trying to come up with something that happened before November... I was excited to spend my birthday in Vegas again back in July, my new job, the wedding stuff (even though I'm letting Rakus do most of the planning), moving into the place I live now, moving to the NEXT apartment (next July).
24) What song will always remind you of 2006?
whoa...This is something I'll figure out in a couple years. For the record, the following song remind me of freshman year of college: "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)" by, like, 98 Degrees or something (it's going on the wedding reception mix) and "It's Gonna Be Me" by *NSync. Some of you may know why that one reminds me of the old days. Who else was at UR back then?
25) Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier. Infinitely. And I don't think I was unhappy last year.
ii. thinner or fatter? probably a little heavier (one or two pounds, but they'll be gone soon)
iii. richer or poorer? richer - it's all in my savings account

traveled. Done things to make myself happy.

I spent Christmans alone in my apartment, cleaning and assembling a jigsaw puzzle.

I tried, God knows. But now we're getting married. So, it didn't take.

Oh, so many! Throwing up at my birthday party (only Katie was there for that - and Rakus still decided that night that he wanted to marry me, so I guess it worked out)

Maria Mena. I totally fell in love with her music. I'm not that hip when it comes to music though

tricky. I'm a movie freak, and I haven't seen a lot of movies that I knew would be good. I saw "The Prestige" and "Casino Royale" back to back, and loved them both, but probably "Little Miss Sunshine" (probably to be replaced when I get around to seeing "Babel")
52) What was your favorite TV program?
This is where you see how eccentric I am - Project Runway (or PRun3, as I liked to call it at home to annoy Rakus) and Battlestar Galactica (moving to Sundays in the new year - check it out people. Will Lee and Kara still be carrying on their crazy affair that makes me very uncomfortable? Will the Cylons hand over Baltar? If they do, will the people kill him? These answers probably in last week's episode, but I fell asleep).

"The Time Traveler's Wife" and "The Memory Keeper's Daughter." It could have been "Book of the Dead" if that actually existed, but it apparently doesn't.

having a job where I'm happy and getting engaged

um... comfortable? and as cute as I can manage at whatever hour I'm getting dressed.
