Thank God I'm not with my mum and even if I was, she wouldn't press this one button because she knows nothing about CS. :)
I personally feel I've suffered enough from listening to and believing in the lies mortal mind mouth-fed me. I'm desperate to leave Egypt, to be set free from slavery.
Since there is only one God, one Mind, one intelligence, it's not really a choice, but the truth to be comprehended. It will remain my constant prayer until the veil of delusion is taken away from my heart and the nightmare of separation fades into nothingness.
Hon.. thought provoking questions! Though we'd all intelectually say "God first", etc, we won't really mean it UNTIL and UNLESS we start living life to reflect that belief. THAT is what wisdom is- experience.
What I want is what God wants and vice versa because we're both one. When the ego comes into the pic, things become fear-based. After all, EGO= Edging God Out.
Huggles.
I love how you express yourself- your choice of words, etc. :)
I personally put God first because pleasing him delights my heart. I love to listen to the music of pure Love, harmony, hope, joy and eloquence pouring from his heart, and I return with songs of praise, adoration, happiness, devotion and gratitude.
The Bible, esp the Old Testament, was a closed book to me. Now it is a source of inspiration. I allow myself to be inspired and let the Word speak to me. Sometimes I hear whispers of Love; sometimes I have moments of realisation; sometimes I burst into tears of joy as years of illusions being cleansed away; sometimes it's a sense of expansion and oneness and sometimes, ecstasy and celebration.
