RANDOM FANDOM HOLIDAY REQUEST MEME
How does this work?
Post a comment with a holiday/winter-themed picture, song, or tradition. Do not put a pairing to it! Then, scroll around the comments and when you feel inspired to write (or draw or mix!) something related to that bit of inspiration, no matter what fandom you feel like working in - go for it! Original characters and rpf are also absolutely welcome. Just put the fandom and pairing in the subject line of your fic comment.
If you're stuck on where to find pictures, try WeHeartIt or Tumblr. You can find songs on YouTube or Last.fm
But what if I want something from one of my fandoms?
If you'd like, what you can do is post a link to a fandom/pairing list - has to be outside the comment, you can dash up a quick one in your own journal if you need to. That way, if someone feels in the spirit of giving, they can quickly find out what you like and surprise you with a pairing you enjoy. But please remember, even if you do post a fandom list, it is not mandatory to write something from the list! This is a random fandom meme. Maybe you'll find something new to love!
What about spoilers?
Because of the nature of this meme, please keep all in-comment ficlets spoiler-free. If you'd like to write something that includes series spoilers, even fairly well-known ones, post it elsewhere and just reply with a link to the fic and a spoiler warning. Same goes for anything over PG-13, or anything possibly triggery. Basically, if you would put a normal fic warning on it, don't have it open in the comments. Link to it.
Is there a limit to requests/fills?
Absolutely not! You can even fill your own prompts if you like, and any given prompt can have many fills! Go nuts. Tis the season!

Look, I'm sure there are a ton of pairing request holiday memes already. This is something a little different, something in the spirit of giving and sharing - the giving is to the writers, the giving of inspiration. Take your butthurt somewhere else.
