Mmmmm, this is a heartwarming little piece. John's bashfulness and Sherlock's frankness, their obvious adoration -- neither of them go in much for the holidays except this one now that it's *them*. And Sherlock's violin: medieval, eternal, and sparkling had me wishing it were a month ago so that I could have a better Christmas, where I listened to music like that. Wouldn't be better than theirs though.

This is utterly lovely with a sweet Sherlock who reads very much in character (especially as he uses music and the promise of pyrotechnics to show his affection). ;)
Really like the tone of warmth and reverence that seeps in.
