I still haven't read book 10 - i've been waiting for it to come out on paperback, which seems to be taking FOREVER, i keep checking. :| not amused. it's one of those serieses i really, really, REALLY love and could babble about for ever but i'm sooo nervous about being spoiled. and when it came out i didn't have the money to spend on the hardcover, so.

i have never really ventured far beyond my fluffy pg roots, though i have been told that the few porn fics i have written are excellent. they are mostly emotion/character pieces though, the porn is kind of a side effect. and that's still all i really want to write, it's what i get inspired for, so i'll roll with it. i enjoy reading porn very much but like, idk. i always flake out. (i think it's like, i like reading other people's porn because then it's a new experience for me, it's sexy, the stuff i write is hardly ever sexy to me because, well, i wrote it. so i am outside of the experience.)
I... somehow ended up writing a 14k abuse fic last year? But other than that, most of my stuff is fluff, although I have been known to have the occasional angst moment. Normally I'm uncomfortable writing porn, simply because I don't think I'm good at it. However, practice can cure a lot of things, I think. I do know what you mean about writing it, however, and think you have a valid point. Personally I think some of the best stories are those that mostly happen by accident and side effects.
