He sat up and held his head, feeling like the world was still spinning. Huh. This wasn't Elysium. It wasn't the Underworld. He clearly wasn't reincarnated, so what the hell?
He had just enough time to register that he was bleeding all over the sand, before he passed out.

The first words he said to her were "Where's the bathroom?"
Calypso dropped the plate she'd been washing and it clattered to the counter. "You're awake?"
"Of course I'm awake and I have to pee, I've been all over this island but there's no..." He trailed off, because she was pointing directly out the door, out to sea. "Oh, no."
"Oh, yes. Have fun." She waved a spoon at him, and he gave her a look that could possibly be interpreted as save meeeee. But she had no sympathy for whiny heroes, and it wasn't until after he'd gone that she realized she still didn't know his name. Drat.
She was pretty certain, though, that this one was an accident. It was too soon after Percy, too soon - and she'd heard all about it, all about how Percy had become invincible and saved the day and gotten the girl and her heart ached, but her flowers told her that he'd planted the moonlace, and she clung to the small victories.
So this guy, he had to be a mistake.
"...Could you possibly have gone without getting your bandages wet?"
He looked down at his arm. "Was I not supposed to?"
Calypso wanted to scream, or cry.
