'tis the season
wow. i'm back in the states. i'm having a hard time getting used to the american keyboards. i got used to the spanish ones!! anyways ... i got in around 6ish on the 15th. of course the airline lost my luggage. i shouldn't have been surprised when they weren't in newark. the earliest i will get them is the 18th. not so bad, but it sucks since they lost a bag going to spain and both of them coming back. just my luck.
it's been nice to be able to hear people's voices. i had a voicemail from griffin when i got into newark. i also received a few other calls from people. i feel loved!! :)
i already miss spain. with all the problems i've had with the damn country i still really miss it. it's so weird to be here. i'm waiting for the reverse culture shock to kick in...i already had a really weird dream last night about the city council of valencia opening an office in jax....
but ya, i'm heading to tally on the 21st to move into the house. i also need to look for a job. i'm going back to jax on the 23rd. then it's christmas and my sister's wedding. i have no idea when i'm going back to tally. hopefully a few days before the semester starts.
i'm very happy with my grades this semester. 4 A's. woohoo!! if i got anything below i would have shot myself.
my mom asked me if i would ever want to go back to europe and travel alone. i told her yes that i actually planned on going after graduation for a month or 2. she surprised me by saying that it would be on my own dime. i thought she would have said no, it's a horrible idea, not to do it, etc. then she asked how i would feel if "your old mom tagged along." wow. didn't expect her to say that!!
so ya, my internet is down at the house so i have to go to the library. at least it's really close. i might find a book while i'm here as well...
