Concussive Missile Silo

This Charm is machinery installed around and within a given Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer, widening the driving piston, fitting it with an internal lightning furnace, and surrounding the wrist or ankle with a bracer-like ring of adamant. The Alchemical may pay an additional 2m when activating that Charm to ignite the furnace as it fires, wreathing the released steam with electricity and launching the hand, foot or other extremity out of its adamantine socket, allowing the Alchemical to make a ranged attack with that extremity, either unarmed or with a brawling aid as specified by Optimized Demolition Vibration. This has the normal traits for such an attack except that the attack has a Range of (Strength x 5) yards and may not be a clinch attack. The launched extremity maintains its connection to the Champion's body through an arcane link to the Alchemical, which automatically and reflexively pulls it back upon striking a surface, at a speed of (Strength x 15) yards per tick. The Champion may also initiate an emergency pullback as a miscellaneous action. While the concussive missile extremity is deployed, it may be targeted by attacks. It has 1B/1L soak, -0/-1/-3/Incapacitated health levels, and while launching or retracting, a Dodge DV equal to the Alchemical's unaltered Dodge DV or 5, whichever is higher. Upon being incapacitated or after spending five hours disconnected from the Alchemical's body, the extremity sublimes into essence, leaving the Alchemical with an incomplete limb until the Concussive Missile Silo's repair-tasked least god engine completes and restores functionality to a replacement hand, foot or other extremity another five hours later.
Submodules:
Smart Missile Integration (Perception 4): This submodule installs a transparent globe into the concussive missile extremity, within which is a lattice of crystal and adamant. This globe behaves as an autonomous drone exactly like those supplied by the Mobile Sensory Drone Charm (including any submodules the Alchemical may have purchased for that Charm, if it is in his Panoply), save that it is installed in the Alchemical's hand, foot or other appendage, and must be deployed by committing the 5m cost of Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer + Concussive Missile Silo, for which purpose this submodule extends the Duration of Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer to Indefinite. If the essence is not committed, then the concussive missile only retains basic launch and retract capabilities as detailed in the base Charm; while the essence is committed, the smart missile is under no time limit for sublimation, though it immediately sublimes if the commitment is released early without first reattaching the missile appendage. While operated as a remote drone, the missile lacks the propulsion of the Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer and possesses only the mobile capabilities and Dodge DV of a Mobile Sensory Drone, except for retaining the retractive speed of the Concussive Missile Silo and the enhanced Dodge DV while retracting, as provided by energizing the drone extremity's arcane link. A deployed smart missile may perform any attack the Alchemical could reasonably perform with that disembodied extremity, including clinching, with the Champion's unaugmented traits for that attack, but such attacks cannot be enhanced by Charms, and do not receive the standard benefits of a Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer attack. Unlike most submodules, Smart Missile Integration must be purchased per copy of Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer, rather than automatically applying to all copies in the Exalt's Panoply.

Interceptor Swarm Array

A series of coin-sized interceptor devices are carefully mounted to charging ports in the Champion's skin, and a starmetal control mandala is wired to the base of his skull. When this Charm is activated, the interceptors lift off and form a defensive constellation around him, shooting down incoming projectiles with miniature Essence cannons. While this Charm is active, the Champion benefits from a Defend Other action, used on his behalf by the interceptor swarm. It has an effective DV of double the Exalt's Essence, but only against ranged physical attacks targeting the character. The Champion must be aware of the incoming attack to gain this benefit, and the attack in question must have a material component; the interceptors cannot destroy an Essence cannon blast, or a gout of flame from a firewand. Ammunition targeted by this Charm is destroyed in-flight, while thrown weapons are deflected and clatter uselessly to the ground. If a magical effect would cause a thrown weapon to return to its wielder, roll off to see which effect takes priority.
The interceptor swarm may be disrupted. An attacker can opt to target the swarm itself as though it were another character defending the Champion; any attack that overcomes the swarm's DV destroys the delicate pattern, rendering it inert and deactivating the Charm.
Submodules:
Calibrated Essence Disruptor (Wits 4): The swarmers' Essence Cannons are wrapped in coils of soulsteel wire, and recalibrated to fire pulses of deadening energy. With this submodule installed, the Champion may also apply the Charm's defensive bonus to ranged physical energy attacks.
Remote Swarm Deployment: The swarmers' engines are upgraded for greater efficiency, allowing them to operate outside the inner envelope of the Champion's anima. When activating this Charm, the Exalt may instead opt to provide its benefits, including the benefits of all installed submodules, to a single human-sized target within (Essence x 5) yards. If the swarmers are moved outside this maximum range, they automatically return to the Champion's body, and the Charm ends.

The Lunar Exalted unite the magic and the mundane, unifying essence and intention in every action. They are mythic beasts and mysterious wonder-workers, and their every act is magic. The Lunar may dynamically include Excellencies of the chosen Attribute in any Combo he activates, without needing to place them in that Combo. If he wishes, he may treat the activation of a single Charm on its own as a Combo for purposes of dynamically including Excellencies, although he must pay the normal Willpower cost of a Combo to do so. This Charm is incompatible with any effect that reduces the cost of an Excellency. If the Lunar dynamically includes an Excellency in a Combo, he does not gain the benefits of the discount.

Stone and Chameleon Feast

The enemies of Creation know to fear a Steward in a furious charge: they see death on the march. Too often they do not know to fear the Steward who stands still like untouched stone. Their death hides in stillness until it feeds its belly. This Charm creates a ten-mote peripheral pool of Overdrive motes, which begins every scene empty. Immediately before making an attack following an Aim action during which the Lunar did not activate any Charm with a Flaw of Invulnerability, a character who knows Stone and Chameleon Feast recovers a number of Overdrive motes equal to the number of ticks spent Aiming. If the character performed more than one consecutive Aim action, then the returns diminish; after the first three motes from the first Aim action, the next three motes each take two ticks of Aiming each, and the three motes after that each take three ticks. The cold fire of the belly is stoked by stillness in adversity; if the Lunar was attacked during the Aim action, he recovers an additional mote, or if the Lunar was successfully struck at all, two additional motes.
