Well, the problem is that both candidates will offer all sorts of lip-service to different interest groups so as to secure certain blocks of voting. So no one but the candidates and God can know exactly which ideologies a candidates will adhere to if they get elected. A good way of discerning between two candidates would be to look at their voting records, and to look at their websites, and see what issues they emphasize, and their proposed solutions to certain problems. While no candidate can accomplish everything that they propose (the executive branch of the United States is not THAT powerful, no matter what we're led to believe every 4 years), their proposals, and even the certain issues that they address on their website can give voters a good idea as to what issues and ideas are important to the candidate.
