Looking for the Perfect Guy
Last night (Friday night) I had a great time getting to know this cute guy as well as catching up with an old friend. I finally met another gay guy (the cute guy) who shares my values. Too bad he's dating another guy and that he's going away for graduate school. During dinner we discussed the concept of "I'm not ready to be in a relationship" excuse, which I concluded to be a euphemism for "I'm not really that into you." However as I drove home, I realized I can't really get involved in a relationship right now even if I met a guy who can fulfill my standards. I would have to use the "I'm not ready to be in a relationship" excuse to prevent a relationship from jeopardizing my career plans. Things are just a little fragile right now...having a relationship right now would be detrimental to my sanity.
Nonetheless, it was incredibly refreshing to have finally met a guy who shares my values. I wish to encounter more people like him in the future.
