ART product help PLEASE!

does anyone know of a varnish or some product that seals really well? I have been working on a surface that I just realized after hours of painting that the paint will easily scratch off the surface if not sealed :( crap

Marine varnish :D

You can put on a thick layer...wet sane it too if you wish and it will be the hardest, more resilient surface you can imagine :D

I used it when I went through my decoupage everything phase..:D

and by wet SANE I mean wet SAND..lol
with super fine grit paper
