blah blah UPDATE blah blah
Well hello, I know it has been a while, but I needed to do other things besides talk about myself for a while. A few things have happened since last I LJed. Dave and I have moved from the dungeon to a 14th floor suite in downtown Kitchener, my mother has visited us for the first time and actually enjoyed herself, and I have secured a job providing technical help for the XBOX gaming console.
These are just a few highlights and by no means all that has happened in the last few months. We have had wonderful friends like Aaron fredneckteddy visit us and enjoy the long Canada Day weekend. While he was here we enjoyed a birds eye view of the fireworks from our balcony along with Cary xtc_cub and his hubby John. Also, we have had the privilege of having a birthday party for my pal Paul beartalon and the extremely human pleasure of making his birthday confection in our own kitchen, sans life-sucking bitch, ...... sans annoying dog, ......sans clinically insane housemates!
Tomorrow is my first day with XBOX. Wish me luck. I am nervous about my performance with these people. They liked what they saw in my interview and subsequent testing since, but to be perfectly honest, human interaction has never been my strength. Perhaps I am thinking about it too much.
Anyway, I am off to bed now. Tomorrow will be an early day for me.
