An Oddly Full Day

Mar 31, 2005 15:31

Yesterday was an odd day for me. It started off as normal and boring. I was doing nothing because I was being lazy. What I had to do I didn't want to do and what I wanted to do I couldn't do because, I'm simply not able to yet.

Around 2ish my friend Cary xtc_cub calls and he is in the same boring situation. He tells me to get off my ass and go out for a coffee with him. Since that was the best offer I had all day and I obviously didn't want to stay indoors yesterday, I went with him. Along the way I got to know him just a bit better. All I will say is that it is good to have friends who know where you come from because they been there and trust you enough to tell you where they are coming from. He will hate me for posting this, but it reminds me of a fun event. LUV YA BABY! LOL!

I got home about 6ish and went to start my chores I left behind, when another friend of mine shows up named Troy. I hope to have Troy converted to the church of LJ soon by the way. He is a really nice guy, a great friend, and amazingly still single for such a mature masculine catch that he is. Mothers, lock up your sons!

ANYWAY, Troy had some tickets to go see a hockey game in Hamilton between the Bulldogs and the Moose. His date had cancelled and he wanted to know if Dave and I wanted to go. Dave is no lover of sports, but I love anything as long as its live. Dave ended up staying home and having, " just Dave mental health night" and I went to see a hockey game for the first time in my life. I had the opportunity to go see the Dallas Stars a few times but I was never really able to go for some reason or another. I can honestly say that I loved it. I mean, no doubt I have a lot to learn about the sport, but it was genuinely interesting. I had a great time and I hope to be introducing you all to Troy on LJ soon, until then here is a picture of us at the event last night.

You just never know what a day or a life can bring until its over, so make no plans, just good friends and see where that takes you.
