The vast majority of Singaporean men are repulsive, tiresome, unoriginal, and just plain boring.
Even at risk of sounding highly arrogant and superficial, I must say, I would never, ever, take a second look at a guy who's fat and/or ugly. If I do, it would be to cringe and to wonder with some kind of perverse amazement and disgust how he became to look like such. I'm not stunningly gorgeous or beautiful, but I do make an effort to make myself presentable, and so I have standards when it comes to how my partner looks, ok.
And just throwing my your contact details and tell me to add you on MSN or Facebook or texting you, isn't gonna make me wanna do it. For one, I hate people telling me what to do. For two, why would I want to contact you. At least prove that you're worth my fucking time and effort.
"Hi, can I be your friend?" is just The Most Appalling and Disgusting Line Ever. First of all, you gotta give me a reason why the fuck I want you as a friend. The word "friend" to me is not to be taken lightly, which explains why I only have a handful of friends. I don't go around collecting "friends" like trophies. I'm highly selective, yes.
This sad state of supposed "human interaction" over the Internet makes me feel pain for society in general. Doesn't anyone bothers to make an effort any more?
I just came to realise what I'm doing wrong. I'm adopting the same attitude as though I'm "interacting" with these people face-to-face. But despite hiding behind the computer screen, you still are interacting with another human being, are you not?

too long to rant on twitter,
