The Weekend in Review

Feb 24, 2003 17:29

Well, its Monday and things are pretty boring as always. This weekend was halfway decent. Friday night after a failed attempt to see 'Gods & Generals' - Chaz and I met Michelle and Becky at 'The Palace' for some late night conversation... not to mention coffee. Chaz was a little irritated by the fact that Michelle kept stealing his fries. This was one of the first 'late nights' in a while. I wandered into my house around 2am... not very late, I know.

Saturday was divided between my bed and the BowFlex. In the evening some relatives and friends of the family arrived for dinner, and I was asked to play 'bartender'. Not having given up on the evening, I chose not to partake of the plentiful spirits as I may have needed to operate an automobile at a later time. Alas no other social outlet presented itself, and I started drinking wine (a nice red) around 1:30am --- about the time my Aunt and Uncle arrived from Montana with my 3 cousins in tow. They had flown into Philadelphia Int'l Airport (not literally) from Montana, where they vacationed at Big Sky. After hearing all about my Big Sky, I retired around 2am (again?).

Rising early on Sunday, breakfast was provided by the Eastern Drumline.... ok an explaination is in order. The EHS Drumline was having a pancake breakfast as a fundraiser for their upcoming trip to Cleveland (i think) --- who cares I got Pancakes, Sausage & Coffee. My Aunt, Uncle & cousins who had spent the night in addition to my immediate family all went over for this early morning shmor-gas-board (like you know how to spell it!!!) --- at least it was held in a VFW and not a church. During the later half of the day I worked out, and watched 'Snatch' which I enjoyed despite the constant interuptions. Then it was a homemade chai and some much needed sleep...

I didn't manage to get much gaming time in this weekend. Trying to do anything that was going to take more than a half-hour was just a waste since it seemed I was being asked to drive my sister here or there every 20min. Factor in the weather (rain) and the fact that my car had to be parked on the street, and you can imagine what an added pain the 'Paul Corkery Taxi Service' was THIS weekend. *ring* --- Damnit - motherfucking telemarketers!!! Ok... that just killed my line of thought... so if you're pissed about the short length of this entry, go bomb a telemarketing agency, and if you ARE a telemarketer do me and the rest of the world a favor and KILL YOURSELF!!!

NO PICTURES THIS TIME IM TOOOO PISSED AT FUCKING TELEMARKETERS!!!
