The weather station's rain gauge seems to be working now.  We had a heavy rains yesterday that was on a slant, and the lanai trays all got flooded.  This might be the same system that is dumping a foot or more of snow in Washington.

On Thursday morning, I helped David clear the northern part of the vegetable garden.  He tilled and began digging a troughs for potatoes.

On Thursday afternoon, I planted the rest of the blueberry ground covers, snow in summer in row 2 and dusty miller cirrus in row 1.  Then I weeded and planted the silver falls in the center pomegranate  I then prepared and seeded 2 trays of creeping thyme for the plums.

On Thursday evening, I cut up the GroMor red potatoes and extracted seeds from the cranberry hibiscus and roselle pods that I harvested, while watching MSNBC in the den.

On Friday, I planted almost 2 rows of potatoes.  The first row has GroMor red + Walmart red.  The second row has Walmart Russet.  Then it started to rain.  Inside, I cut up the Walmart Yucon Gold for the 3rd row.
