We are expecting 5 days in a row of freezing temperatures. Thursday will be fine, but Friday and Saturday will be freezing again. Our pump is above ground, and last freeze we had to replace a valve, so we covered it with blankets.
We covered up a few of the citrus, figs, tomatoes, and eggplants. We have cardboard and sheets along the outside of the lanai. We brought the peppers and eggplant from the lanai to inside, and moved everything else on the lanai closer to the house. Hopefully, we can save some of this year's crop and all of next years crop. It is supposed to get really cold tonight, maybe 25.
