Morning: Patrolled the peppers, tomatoes and eggplants for worms. Still not worm free, but close. Erected my two new shelving units. Now I have shelving for 64 trays. I moved the 3 tomato trays from the lower shelves of the other unit to the top shelves of the new units. They need lots of sun.
Prepared and seeded:
Pepper tray 32 cell peat strip: 8 each of 4 kinds of peppers from echo.
Tomato tray: 18 3" peat pots: 6 each of 3 kinds of tomatoes from echo.
Nightshade tray: 32 cell peat strip: 8 echo eggplants, 8 banana peppers, 8 from a peruvian purple pepper in the garden, 8 other peppers.
Also prepared another tray for transplanting more sedum with the last of the available soil.
Then I put the papaya and moringa into plastic bags for germination, and tidied up the den because we were scheduled for the house to be sprayed for insects.
Afternoon: more trays:
112 pellets Silver falls and cirrus dusty miller (picked up cirrus yesterday at the post office)
112 pellets cirrus dusty miller
112 pellets silverdust dusty miller
112 pellets new look dusty miller
I took the lids from everything that was not just started, even if it hadn't completed germination. I'm all done seeding for germination. Still have some transplanting to do.
I sprayed the tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers again with the caterpillar killer, watered, and called it a day. The next 5 days will be mostly devoted to cleaning.
