accommodations post!

Hey Comic-Con bbs! We are... well, slowly approaching at least SDCC 2010's calendar year! The official SDCC twitter (http://www.twitter.com/Comic_Con) has been ablaze today with updates of all sorts, but for this entry I thought I'd focus on one very important element of any Comic-Con experience: where you're planning to rest your weary, likely asploded head at night!

Factors to consider: cost (and how many people can/are you willing to fit in a room), location (walking distance vs. Comic-Con hotel shuttle vs. SD trolley/bus), comfort (certain amenities, good experience in past, etc.).

What elements are most important to YOU? Has anyone ever gone through the official Comic-Con hotel site (going live March 18 at 9am PST)? Is anyone still looking for rooms, or roommates? If not, where are you staying? How many lucky people live/have family/friends in San Diego?

I know there are new people who would appreciate advice from the veterans!

As for me, I'll be staying at my family's house in Lemon Grove. It's a bit of a schlep, but the trolley stop has parking, and otherwise it's free! I do miss out on a bit of the ~night life~ though, as the trolley has a limited schedule...

In other news, WHO'S GETTIN' EXCITED?
