First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who has volunteered. This project wouldn't be half as great without you.

I would like to be the host because I think I could bring an odd charm to the show. I can be eccentrically charismatic and I have a wicked sense of humor, (ask the Atlanta GQMFs. There's videos of our meet-up on YouTube, and you can see my crazy there) in addition to adoring the Star Trek universe and all of its lovely fans.
Hosting ideas -
If I were to host, it'd be modeled after a mixture between Neil Patrick Harris's hosting style and Jon Stewart's hosting style. I'd write some jokes on my own or collaborate on some material with those who are interested for the jovial hosting sections. Maybe have an opening monologue with some loving passes at certain GQMFs in the "audience", as they typically do in awards shows. I could also help segways/transitions from category to category or commercial/skit/awthum musical performance. So yeah. I have a lot of ideas floating around to make it fun yet have a certain suspension of disbelief there. I'd even wear my Uhura dress!
