Ailwin had a break in his teaching schedule, so what was he doing? Grading assignments, of course. He really kind of hated this part of his job, but it had to be done. Anyway, the fun parts - getting paid to be a geek about runes and teach other people about something he loved - kind of outweighed the more tedious parts of his job.
He sighed and set down his quill, deciding to take a bit of a break between papers. Some of these were really pretty bad and it was a little frustrating, looking as such badly botched translations. Obviously, he needed to do something different with this class.
Shaking his head, he reached for his tea and took a sip. Maybe he should take a longer break and go for a walk or something. Hmmm.
