Ed wasn't about to let his very pregnant wife endure a long train ride. Not when he could easily apparate them to Hogsmeade Village and they could walk from there. They said their quick goodbyes to Maible, first, of course, and then he pulled Ashleigh over to a quiet area, kissing her softly before apparating them away.
"Alright?" he asked, a little more concerned than need be as his hand slipped into hers and he looked down at her swollen belly. Hey, you couldn't blame him for worrying over every little thing when she was carrying their baby. Even if he knew she was likely fine and even if he knew she'd probably not admit it to him if she wasn't, he still had to ask.
