Lately? Rin hadn't been herself. Not in the least. She was uber-stressed when normally she didn't let things bother her. She was homesick, but at the same time, she didn't want this year to be over. Partially because this place had become a second home and partially because she knew friendships would fall apart. In fact, some already were. Some of her friends were pairing off and it was just...awkward. Kind of. Really, Rin wanted to slap some of them and say 'Hey, stop eating each others' faces for a sec and remember your other friends.'
One such person was Dari. No, she and Rin weren't as close as they could have been. No, Dari wasn't quite as bad as what was described above. But there was a Dari-shaped space in the dorm where her roommate used to be. She liked Dari and honestly missed her. Rin was glad her friend was happy, of course, it was just...well, she was getting kind of lonely.
Anyway, Rin was laying down on the couch in the common room looking over notes when said missing dormmate and friend walked in. Rin brightened and sat up when she saw Dari. "Hey stranger, where'd you come from?"
