Emily was always happy to spend time with Annie, really. The joys of being close to your sister -- so meeting up with her for dinner would have been something to look forward to anyway.

But today... well, today was now something special, and Emily was even more excited than usual. She couldn't even wait by the Great Hall for Annie, because she was too... giddy. Yes, giddy was definitely a good word for her.

So she started making her way towards the Gryffindor Common Room, figuring she'd have to run into her sister at some point along the way -- which, of course, she did. As soon as she spotted Annie she broke into a wide grin, quickening her steps until she was close to running, grabbing Annie's hands once she was close enough and letting out a small squeal.

"Annie, you won't believe what happened today," she told the younger girl by way of greeting.

Annie was slightly taken aback when she spotted her sister a little ways down the hall and before she had a chance to quicken her pace, Emily had practically broken into a run and Annie couldn't help but laugh just a little. "Emily!" She said with a grin as she bounced a bit. "Emily, what's gotten into you?"

Her head tilted to the side just a bit, her grin widening as she gave Emily's hands a bit of a squeeze. "What's going on? Not that seeing you like this is a problem, but... what happened?"
