It wasn't often that Anne Richland wound up this upset. She was happy by nature, bright and cheerful and all smiles. It was just a part of her nature, more than likely due to growing up in the family that she did. She never once had reason to be unhappy or upset or anything less than bright and cheerful.
But, in the past month, a lot had happened. A boy she went to school with but never really knew was dead, and he wasn't all that much older than she was. Only a year or so older than Emily, as a matter of fact, and that scared her. She knew the boy had a lot of close family at school too, had seen them wandering around in such a daze and it had gotten her thinking about what she'd do if anything happened to anyone in her family. If something to were happen to one of her parents or Jason or Emily, she didn't know what she'd do with herself.
It scared her a lot.
And then, then just a few days ago, one of her very own housemates, Bastian Myles, had gone missing and so had Darin DeLouise (which, really had upset her far, far more than it should have, considering she didn't know the boy and just... knew about him) and things just kept getting worse and worse by the day, didn't they?
Sighing, she stopped her aimless walking about the ground and plopped down by the lake, pressing her back against a tree as she pulled out one of her notebooks -- she never ever went without one, just in case something happened that she wanted to write down. Bending over her book, she quickly began to write. Nothing particular in mind this time, just.... writing.
