Katy didn't understand what everyone was so bent about. So, some kid had died. It was just some filthly mudblood who had hit on her more times than she could count. How he'd even been let into Slytherin to start with was beyond her.
Half the school seemed to be walking around like they had cancer of the puppy or something and she didn't understand it. She was in a perfectly good mood. The bacon was cooked just perfectly right this morning and her scrambled eggs were delightfully fluffy and mmmm, fresh pumpkin juice. It tasted even better than normal today.
Really, why couldn't people just learn to look on the bright side of things? Like the fact that now there was one less mudblood running around. All this gloom was bad for the complexion and all that frowning was going to give people wrinkles, anyway.
Some idiot mudblood kid who was dumb enough to get in the way was hardly worth that.
