A trip to the Ministry should have been a good, right? Except, not really. As fascinating as a real visit might have been, yesterday's had gone very, very badly and now two... friends, or at the least friendly acquaintances were missing.
"Fuck, what's the use!"
Ellie had been trying to study, because she still had exams and because maybe it would be an alright distraction, but she threw her quill across the table and slammed her book shut. What good was doing well on her exams going to do with everything going on these days?
Darin and Bastian were gone and they had no way of knowing if they were okay or dead or... Sure, she wasn't exceptionally close to the boys, but that didn't matter. It was upsetting all the same. And Darin was their leader. The leader of the DA and he wasn't even safe.
Ellie sighed and ran a frustrated hand through her hair. She'd never felt so helpless than she did right now.
