Someone once told Preston that only lazy people could see the moon during the daytime.
He'd laughed, and then pointed out that only dumb people must believe a load of shite like that.
His dad had gotten on to him, made him apologize to his coworker, and then he'd been told to scamper off and play with Wes. Looking back on that discussion, Preston found it rather ironic. There was a sense of... accuracy in that daft man's observation!
Because right now, lying on one of the stone tables in the courtyard, Preston was staring at the moon. A very pale, faded version of the moon against a brilliant blue sky, but the moon nonetheless. And he, true to form, was being rather lazy.
Huh.
