TV on 10-12-11
-The Secret Circle, Suburgatory, Revenge and Hart of Dixie got full season pick ups. Yay! I’m glad.
-Hearing how Faye might be thrilled about Adam/Diana having problems does my Faye/Diana subtext some good.
-Up All Night and Two Broke Girls got picked up but unfortunately so did Whitney. Those I care less about.

Geoff’s girlfriend Alex is back. I’m sad because a few months ago that could’ve been me! I sat in lesbian row. I liked Monica Potter on this.
“Up All Night” 1x05
I love that Chris was totally whipped by the playgroup. Reagan got to show off there and I have to admit her extra song verse to itsy bitsy spider was awesome. Ava was of course hilarious in her incompetence but she has some competence like knowing how a speech should flow and what she likes. She could sniff out lies and know her mistakes. I also love how Ava tossed out a compliment to Amy in the middle of her insecurity breakdown. Some very sweet moments and of course, cute baby.
“Revenge” 1x04
Daniel’s friend seems like a douche and maybe more evil than Amanda. Amanda threw herself in as a victim to keep from being suspicious. Her fake embarrassment was hilarious. Victoria had Amanda committed just to separate her from her dad. The levels of evil at work here. Of course, she can’t top Emily who, once she was unfairly institutionalized, locked her shrink in a cargo container in the middle of nowhere. I’m sort of feeling Victoria/Frank.
“Modern Family” 3x04
I love Phil knocking people down and realizing he’s attracted to black chicks. Luke is a life savant if there is such a thing. Cameron cast Mitchell as a gay best friend in his romantic comedy. I love drugged up Alex.
“Criminal Minds” 7x04
I get that Morgan was playing a practical joke on Reid but why would he say on camera that his name was Spencer Reid while doing press for a crisis? Also, I can’t believe that the survivors would exclude a fellow survivor from their reunion just because he was never on a talk show. It’s one dinner. Let it go. I did like the prank war. JJ helped out Prentice while she was away.
“Happy Endings” 2x03
“We’re like Gilmore Girls but we came first so we’re better.”
“You can’t neck yourself.”
“So, now you get to perform for people and boats.”
Megan Mullally is Penny’s mother. No wonder she’s awesome. I can see why they all find Penny’s mom so great I love the way Penny and her mom were arguing via song. They ended up making Penny’s mom’s dreams come true. Lovely.
“Suburgatory” 1x03
I like this show. I don’t know what it is, but it has a lot going for it even with the really silly storylines. I like how Dallas is supportive of George.
“American Horror Story” 1x02
Maria from 1968 is on Parenthood. I wonder if the next door neighbor was hooking up with the killer at the beginning and was the one threatened with the clap. I still don’t know what to think of this show but I guess it’s a good thing. Daniel from Y&R is in this episode.
“Psych” 6x01
“You’re legless.”
I love the coroner assuming Shawn and Gus were brothers and Henry’s sons. Shawn “proved” he was a psychic and revealed his relationship to Juliet. Malcolm McDowell was in this episode. Lassiter proved what he would do if Shawn hurt Juliet. They did the flashback tag at the end to show how Shawn beat the polygraph. I loved the psych out at the end.
