Interesting to have an abusive parent as one of the leads. Things feel a little oversimplified. This was a stronger episode than the last.

Iris was written out of the episode rather clumsily.

Lots of enemies on the same side but still a bunch of secrets.
“Kung Fu” 1x10
Nicky picked her man. Things seemed awfully skewed in his favor. Not a surprise.
“The Bold Type” 5x06
Well, the Bold Type ended as ridiculously as it began. Sutton and Richard are happily ever after. So are Kat and Adena. Kat is the head of Scarlet even though they lampshaded she was fired from there only months before for being bad for the company. Jane quit a job that would help her achieve her dreams because she didn't want a “safety net” but her best friend is now her boss so she'll have one anyway. Ugh. I did enjoy this series enough to watch the whole thing but they are just so proud of themselves for being woke when they were always missing the mark.
