Pretty decent episodes of both episodes of both shows.
Life Unexpected 1x01:
-Liked the dials coming to life in the opening seconds of the show.
-Love the chemistry between Ryan and Cate and a nice way to introduce Lux over the radio as well as her situation.
-Nate slobby but likable... according to the girl who lectured him and jumped into bed.
-"You know what's not possible? Having a million babies." So, Kate's that girl. I like that and how Nate and Kate are opposites... haha. Nate and Cate.
-Nate has manwhore roomies too. I guess that's what you can get living over a bar.
-Love how Lux just assumed Nate wasn't her father.
-Lux gets what she wants. "Mommy?" Love that she said that with complete unabashed sarcasm.
-At least Baze/Nate was trying to get help.
-Props to Lux for making fun of Nate/Cate
-Plus Cate Cassidy? (Like Katie Cassidy from their own network?)
-So, Nate's friend liked Cate and Cate liked Nate?
-Baze really enjoys himself.
-Love the banter continues off radioshow. And that Cate is also the kind of person to hit someone with a ski when he proposed.
-Aww Ryan is sweet.
-Nice music choices on this show. Whoever is doing the music on this show should do it for the whole CW.
-How could Cate say it was a wrong number when they both heard him say it was Nate.
-Enjoyed Nate/Lux bonding. They do look a bit alike, his eyes are light at time.
-Cate and Ryan aged like 5 years in that moment when he realized she got pregnant in high school.
-I like how their banter continues in their unhappiness.
-I like how Nate is kind of pissed at Cate but also stepping in to helping Lux with the details in her convo with Cate. He's affected. You can tell Nate and Cate are going to grow up a lot with Lux in their care.
-Cate keep your eyes on the road!
-I like how Lux counsels her parents while knocking them also simultaneously.
-I like that the show at least tries to have an excuse for everything.
-Cate hands back the ring and is still trying to figure things out.
-Nate's signatures were witnessed... as was Cate's kinda. Good for Nate for trying to object. Didn't work though.
-Nate and Cate are realllly honest.
-I feel for Lux being homeless.
-This show is historically accurate.
-Cate: "Oh, your skills really? You didn't even make it through Two Princes."
Nate (smiling): "Touche. Listen, Cate, I'm sorry."
Cate: "Come on, it's fine, that song, it's like 5 minutes long, so..."
LOL!
- I like Cate and Nate. I know there's gonna be a pull with them.
-Love Cate not being able to open the door in her escape. Way to go tripping over your daughter though. Dad and Mom sleeping peacefully while their child sleeps outside.
-Lux is right at least Cate is honest and fickle.
-Funny how Nate reacted to their engagement being back on.
How I Met Your Mother 5x13
-I like Amanda Peet showing up randomly.
-Marshall plays the pronoun game. Haha.
-Lily's not even jealous.
-The reacher and the settler is our new rule/theory of the episode.
-I actually liked Lily and Marshall's argument because they were having a couple argument for once and she made sure Oprah did everything she could before answering. Haha.
-Nice that Marshall is the kind of guy who goes straight home to confess to his wife and feels guilty and never thinks about cheating or looking at anyone else.
-Marshall is one of the only guys who wants to get caught but doesn't want his relationship to end.
- The But-um game reminds me of when Barney paid Robin to say stupid stuff on her news segments.
- Love how the game tied the storylines together. Too bad all 60 something people are watching Robin's show from one television so her ratings don't go up.
-I loved Lily going from zero to crazy and putting a beat down on someone and Marshall learning his lesson.
- Nice tag at the end with Robin coming back in a second time with the blowhorn.
-Good direction by NPH. Fit really well with the episode.
-Nice that Marshall and Lily were the main story instead of the b story and a prop to another relationship.
