Ranking The Summer Shows Of 2015
1. UnReal- This got me. It's soapy fun. It's dark and twisty. It looks at the TV industry. So much greatness.
2. Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp- I loved the movie so the show meant a lot to me. It was great to see the gang all together. It was fun and full of stars.
3. Humans- This was great drama and an interesting concept. It brought up a lot of things to think about which I liked.
4. Sense8- This was a great concept, it blew my mind. I liked pretty much everyone I think. Funny, dramatic and action packed. Good stuff.
5. Mr. Robot- Probably the strongest pilot of the summer. I liked the concept of this show following the introverts and the spiraling effects of things. I didn't love how everything was connected but a solid show.
6. The Jim Gaffigan Show- I really love Jim Gaffigan so I liked this show even if it's pretty bland.
7. Dark Matter- I don't feel like the show used it's full potential but it was interesting to see these characters figure themselves out and figure out if they are innately good or evil.
8. Killjoys- I liked this one about the same. Good sci-fi /fantasy dealing with the concept of family and bigger conspiracies.
9. Dates- This was an interesting concept. I don't like how they handled everything but it was a good concept, executed well and without judgment of it's characters.
10. The Carmichael Show- This isn't amazing but it has a solid cast that talks about real issues from multiple perspectives. Most episodes are like the others but it's funny.
