-R.I.P. Larry Hagman
-So, in honor of the holiday season I’m watching a Christmas special/movie of the day. For this weekend it was “Frosty The Snowman,” “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer,” and “The Happy Elf.”
-Today's quote of the day (weekend) is a song lyric from the TV show "Nashville."
“Dark Shadows” Episodes 218-224
Still enjoying having Barnabas on the scene even if he is attacking ladies. He is for some reason not successful? Though he does have thrall apparently. Love him butting heads with Jason and charming everyone else. Plus, the crazy dreams Maggie is having are hilarious.
“Once Upon A Time” 2x08
I really loved this episode. It got back to the core couple of Snow/Charming. Plus, Regina got to bond with Henry even with him seeing her dark side. Charming/Henry got to build their dynamic. Everyone got to band together in two worlds to stop Cora. Plus, we finally got to see some awesomeness from Aurora. So, everyone can take a heart? Cora has Aurora’s heart now.
“The Good Wife” 4x09
Stockard Channing is Alicia’s mother. Peter and Alicia had sex so Alicia could rebel against her mom. I wonder how Cary knew Kalinda’s husband went after him.
“Revenge” 2x08
Ashley was a hooker. Nolan had a habit of dating people under his employ. Nolan lost a boyfriend protecting Emily. He’s about to come back into the picture. Victoria’s mom is straight up evil. Victoria gave her mom a man so she could take him away again. Someone tried to take the bar before and a murder was involved. The new guy terrorizing the bar looks way too old to be the son of the guy terrorizing Jack’s dad way back when. Aidan was apparently recruited as part of Emily’s revenge plan.
“Dexter” 7x09
Ugh, why did Deb have to save Hannah? Sad to see Isaac go actually.
“Homeland” 2x09
Quinn is there to kill Brody. Jessica is hooking up with Mike again. Abu Nazir is still out there.
“Hunted” 1x06
They saved a good lady. Sam might be exposed.
“Wedding Band” 1x03
I like that they acknowledged the ridiculousness of the situation. I continue to like the music of the episodes. I just don’t know about this show.
“Frosty The Snowman”
Surprising amount of death talk in a half hour special. Still, the bad guy got defeated by writing an apology for Santa in exchange for gifts. Realistic ending?
“Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer”
Silly little film that seemed mostly about making something to go with the song.
“The Happy Elf”
It was a kind of sweet film about bringing the Christmas cheer but also depicted elves as kind overworked and bitter.
