Life Unexpected 2x01
Some of the writing was off to me. Like I thought Lux's first convo with Jamie was there just to make Lux feel guilty. It came up so awkwardly or maybe it was just acted that way. I like having Shaun Sipos back on my screen. He's one of those actors that just grows on you. Bug seemed less annoying and even though the proposal thing seems immature and insecure I get his motives. I can appreciate Bug and Lux in this episode because you could see both perspectives. Her no was seen as abandonment and he lashed out. Right after nicely coming to check on Baze too. Lux I go back and forth on liking but I liked her this ep. She did not want to hurt Bug's feelings but senses that rushing into marriage is a bad idea. She seemed to have guilt and was pretty witty too. She was at least honest with Bug. Shaun's character is a teacher. It's Pretty Little Liars all over again.
Ryan has secrets! I still like him at this point though. Nice that he has edge, unhappy that is makes him most likely a douche and Baze the nice guy. I like the bartender a.k.a. Lexi from TVD. I totally called she was the one calling Ryan. Haha. More entanglements in that group as if they needed more. The CW really loves hiring other CW actors.
I like Kristoffer Polaha but I do not like Baze most of the time. I definitely do not like Cate and Baze as a couple. I thought it was stupid that he decided to tell Cate his feelings the second they got back from their honeymoon after making nice with Ryan and them together. I did like that Cate pointed out she could tell what he really felt by the way he stormed in and she made her choice, though she did rat Lux out which was uncool but I don't think she realize the badness she was causing. I did like that Baze seemed to acknowledge what a bad idea admitting the truth was and Cate admitted she treated him badly as well. I liked Baze playing basketball with his dad and getting along. I liked him running back into the building to get Lux. I liked him taking responsibility for his life and is just focusing on a good dad. Lux seems to feel the full guilt of lying and she should but she got dropped off at the bar. Why could she not just tell Cate that she went to Cate's early in the morning after ending up at the bar? The co-host was annoyingly funny and her firing was painfully funny. I wonder what Cate will do now.
Parenthood 2x01
"What's hunky dory?"
"It's how awesome people say great."
Okay, that quote is from the season preview but it's still good to see. I can't possibly break this show down character by character because it's a whole huge family but I do love this show and am glad it's back. For those of you not in the know, Crosby is played by KBell's real life fiance in case you were wondering.
Covert Affairs 1x10-1x11
"Cheese?"
"Hells yeah."
I really enjoyed the 2 hour finale which was basically just an episode put together with a finale. I liked the characters. I liked Ben. It was all pretty good. I wonder what kind of finale it is having Ben get shot at the end. Oh no, not the guy who we barely know who she dated two years ago for three weeks. That was sarcasm.
"Craig Ferguson"
I loved KBell on Craig Ferguson. Her rivalry with Geoff, her eyebrow raising at the camera, her general awesomeness. Gosh I love KBell.
