Crossover Fun
So, I'm kind of a huge Joss Whedon fan. I know that automatically makes me the subject of ridicule but I'll admit it right now. The fun is when trivia and jokes and actors crossover between shows because if you watch multiple shows of his you realize there is fun for viewers with callbacks.
Even after actors leave the Whedonverse there is still fun. Like many Whedonverse actors on "How I Met Your Mother" and Alyson Hannigan's character joking about her collegiate lesbian phase. On "Castle" Nathan Fillion went as a space cowboy (the exact Firefly/Serenity costume) for Halloween prompting his daughter to ask if he went as that five years ago.
"Glee" and "Heroes" had a bunch of crossover actors. As did "Pushing Daisies" seeing as Brian Fuller worked on Heroes. Many actors shared in between all three shows. I just am watching this show now and I know I'm hecka late but better late than never. I love this show. Sad knowing it is already cancelled. I highly recommend it you missed it. I can't escape a smile as I watch it. Anyway, crossover bit of trivia: One of the executive producers the show goes by the name of Gretchen Berg. HA!
