Thriller redux

One of the greatest things I've seen in Portland was the revival performance of Michael Jackson's Thriller video last night at the Last Thursday Alberta Art Walk in NE Portland.  I really didn't expect much (not that I'm a dance snob, but really - who would put that much effort into learning all the steps, rehearsing them in a group and donning proper zombie makeup to ensure authenticity?)  They were actually pretty amazing; totally together, accurate, entertaining, exuberant.  I've decided to try to get in on that next year.  The only anachronism was the track suits, which Sara pointed out - they should've been in fancy attire.  For those of you who want a trip down memory lane in honor of the holiday weekend, enjoy the full, uncut, nearly 15 minute film on youtube:
