And The Interwebs Went Boom!

I knew last night, as True Blood ended, that I should probably avoid all forums for the next week for the sake of my own sanity. But I also knew that was completely impossible ( Read more... )

I found you on tumblr :) Someone linked this post there.
Love the video! The dream was her subconcience telling her that she does have feelings for Eric and should be suspicious about Bill.

This is tragic and that makes the love story also more interesting.
Remember the first dream when Eric talked about Sookie would do everything for her loved ones, even him. Now he thinks that she doesn't care for him and would never help him, which is so wrong! This is Sookie we are talking about!! She would help, most definitely, because she cares a lot and it would also benefit her. I mean she risked her life for Godric, a vampire she knew nothing of, why wouldn't she help Eric?!
Eric now probably thinks it’s futile to get Sookie to co-work on bringing down Russell, there is just no time for talking and persuation. So Eric for the sake of himself, Pam, Sookie, vampire/human relation, jails Sookie to use her in his plot to take down Russell. It was never going to be easy and with no co-operation they are doomed. Eric tries to distance himself, but he's not going to all of a sudden throw Sookie under a bus! He will protect her as much as he can, but he will have to play the part he played before in Russells mansion.

I think the lady doth protest too much, is a phrase well applied to Sookie in this instance. "I prefer cancer!" "Monster!" and my personal favourite, "EWW!" If she really didn't care, she wouldn't feel the need to mouth off about it all the freaking time. It annoys her to no end that she is attracted to him, because it doesn't fit with her opinion of who she should be attracted to, or how she should behave.

Normally all her spitfire protestations of hatred just amuse him - makes the chase all the more fun. But yeah, this episode Eric is finally so depressed about everything else going on, he seems to take her rants at face value. And you're completely right - Sookie risks her life for EVERYONE. Hopefully she will prove this is true again in the finale.

You know, there are a lot of Rhett/Scarlet references in the books, and that is exactly who these two kids are. I just really hope Eric doesn't finally get so fed up he tells Sookie he no longer gives a damn. And if it does happen, the series continues on to show the part where she chases him down, and wins him back.

Did love last episode! Eric the silent hero :) The tender caress and soothing stroke in Sookies hair, the apologetic look and the goodbye that look held. I had prepared myself for some difficult moments between them but Eric came through!
Yes I've always seen the Rhett and Scarlett theme on TB as in the books ;) The slapping, the snarky comments, flinging Sookie over the shoulder... Eric is the kind of man that doesn't treat his women like porcelene dolls! Found a brilliant video for R/S and E/S! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rfl2E176G_M
If Eric gets fed up with Sookies attitude towards him, I do hope she'll understands what she had and what he's done for her!! And goes after him :)
