I was all fired up to do a post basically telling Elvis Stojko to shut the hell up, doing a point by point analysis of his rather enormous bias, but then I got distracted on YouTube. I've decided the best possible response to Stojko is video evidence of the kind of skater he will never be - a man who has it all. Athleticism, jumps, footwork, gorgeous entertainment, and a sense of style.

Disclaimer for Americans - If you don't know, Elizabeth Manley and David Peltier, the commentators for CTV, were both emphatic that the medals went down exactly as they should. Manley even gave a very detailed analysis, live as the skating was happening, before the marks went out, of why Lysacek would score higher - tiny mistakes made by Plushenko, footwork that would score higher, and a program that was strategically choreographed by putting more jumps in the back end that would earn a higher percentage. Apparently Stojko wasn't listening.
