Challenge is Open and Mod Post
The Wands of the Wood Challenge is Now Open!
Posting for the challenge goes through September 15. There's still plenty of time to sign up for the challenge! If you'd like to participate, please check out our list of prompts here.
And thank you to everyone who voted in the community poll last week. Based on your feedback, here is how the community will operate going forward. After every challenge, we will have a month of 'open posting.' You may post stories, artwork, icons, discussions, anything you want during this time. The timing will actually work out very well because I'd like the community to host some sort of challenge every two months or so.
If you post a story when it's not open posting, it's not the end of the world. I won't go around deleting stories or anything like that. In the end, this community is about sharing our love for Neville and Luna.
Also, when I announced the challenge, I mentioned that NC-17 stories and art would be accepted for the first time. I would like to make an amendment to that. NC-17 will be accepted as long as Neville and Luna are clearly over the age of eighteen.
That leads me to my last point. govt_stole_toad is staying here. I know a number of communities are moving off site or creating 'mirror' entries. This community will not be. We're staying at LJ. Just an FYI.
