Quick Thought- Stores open 24 hours a day shouldn't waste precious money on permanent locks. They should leave a hole in the door and in case of emergenies they should just lock it with a chain and padlock. But then again you are still paying for a lock. But you aren't paying for lock instillation so I presume it is a more cost efficient idea. But then how much does the chain cost. If it is KRYPTONITE it might cost as much as a permanent lock instillation and in that case go with with the permanent locks because you never have to worry about losing them under the car seat or in the house. A cheep chain can be broken and a good one will cost quite a bit of money and still can be easily broken. So in conclusion I guess having stationary locks are better because they will never be misplaced and you dont have to worry about an expensive chain. Hmmmm.... I need more research on this.....
