(no subject)
The one thing about being between projects in art class is that it's easy to let my mind wander. Which it's been doing the past few days. I've basically been just...fooling around, while I've been thinking about things...like tennis. Tournaments this weekend, and...I don't know~ Fearless Buchou was surprised at how...mmmm, calmly I'm accepting things like lineups. But, you know? I'm in tennis to have fun, and to help the team win. What's best for the team works for me~ I realized I...lost my passion for it when Hiroshi and I stopped playing doubles regularly. I can and will rock singles, I can and will play doubles with others...but it's not the same~
Besides~ I'm finally starting to accept that I can go somewhere with my art~ ♥ Kei spent the entire weekend beating me over the head with it, and I know he felt vindicated when I took second at Art Nationals~ I think he surprised us both with his reaction ♥ By the way, thanks to all my friends for caring. I mean really. Filled me with warm fuzzies to know Eishirou was the only one who cared to ask how that went~ Second-best young artist in Japan...well, unless my grades tank, I've written myself a ticket to most art schools in Japan~! According to a couple of my teachers, I could probably apply to international schools if I wanted...but I don't~ MICA's the only program that interests me, but my English, well, sucks~ So we'll pass on that as an idea~
Mmmm~! I've picked up a second job~ Once a week for six weeks...basically I'm going to be a Life Art model. Six weeks of sitting around naked for a bunch of people to stare at and draw ♥ I'm going to have to remember to break this to Kei gently...I hope he doesn't read it here first.... But it pays well, and won't interfere with anything else going on~
I was playing with the screen-printed watercolor sheets this week while I was thinking. Yukimura, I'm giving you some of those with your pads...they are fun to play with~ ♥
Mmmm...I think I know what my next project is going to be...it's going to take me a long time, but I have the time~
After tournaments, though. First things first is to kick ass and take names there~! ♥
