Happy New Year!
Had a quiet New Year's Day. Between doing chores, playing with the Bupba Doo, and playing video games the day went by rather quickly. I'm still trying to get over the cold that the wife and the son inflicted me with, but I shall persevere.
Had an OMG!EMERGENCY! last night with my son. We couldn't find his beanie baby pony that he wanted to sleep with that night, along with every single Ikea head pillow bought by his grandmother, and his froggy backrest, and Curious George, and his clock timer. Yes, my son has strange taste in bedtime security objects.
So, picture me and my wife spending a good twenty minutes checking every possible location, save the litter box, to find my son's pony. All the while, he's becoming increasingly upset and weepy. Made me a sad parent.
Fortunately, my wife's eagle eyes finally spotted the pony underneath the foot of our bed.
And order was restored to the galaxy.
