making and made
the wife gave me feedback that i should post the pictures of what was actually made. so here are the finished products:
i actually made a pair of socks for the wife (that she doesn't take off unless she had too, sweet woman that she is). and she made a pair of pants for our son out of an old polo shirt. alas, they look a bit like a pair of women's trousers. but he'll work it.
