God Knows...
Yeah I have had quite the day today. All starting about 12 noon... We get Sky+ Yay for recording shit! Anyway, After the ol' Sky+ gets installed I make my way to the bus stop and just before I get to the stop I see a bus go by I was like "SHIT MY BUS!" I race to the stop and find out that that bus wasn't the bus I was looking for instead my bus coming from Glasgow to Stirling was TEN MINUTES LATE! Usually the buses are actually on time or early their has been the odd occasion that the bus has been late but meh can't do anything about that but anyway... Bus comes ten minutes late and I stick my hand out to flag it hand almost goes bye bye because the stupid driver almost totally shunned my effort to flag this bus. Anyway the bus stops like halfway out the bus stop and I get on, Being my luck I catch an exact change only bus and I had to ask for money but first of all I ask for a Return from Stirling. "Sorry we don't do returns." Wait a minute here DON'T DO RETURNS?! Buses have been doing returns since the dawn of time why stop now? Anyway the Driver proceeds to look through his little sheet and tries to find the returns, Me getting impaitent I ask for a £4.50 "full day" ticket and he said... "Full day ticket?" At this point I let an elderly lady on since she has a consession pass and can get on quicker. So yeah she gets on and I return to the bus driver who is fucking about with the machine trying to get me my ticket which he has no clue about. Finally after about 5-10 minutes of waiting he gets the ticket, and I ask everyone on the bus for change I get change and I give a fiver note to the bus driver and then he issues the ticket and guess what it was kids? A FUCKING RETURN! WAIT A MINUTE I THOUGHT YOU DON'T DO RETURNS YOU FUCKING KNOBEND! So yeah. He proceeds to annoy everyone on the bus all the way into Stirling, when we reach the bus stop everyone gets off not saying a word of thanks and rightly so too this bus driver is fucking shit.
Anyway that's my bus episode over now on to the work episode. I get in ON TIME miraculously. I spend some time talking to the till staff that's just finishing their shift and about 2 minutes before I start I get up stairs and sign in like usual and then head downstairs to start my shift by unloading accessories, and I had to mentor ANOTHER newstart. I showed her where things went and shit for accessories and then about 20-30 minutes later the Area Manager comes in and before I knew it I couldn't stop working with fear of getting fired on the spot I keep all the till staff working to avoid them from the fate I was shitting myself from. XD So yeah, the day goes by I sort out the socks so they look presentable behind the cash desk and I have the Area Manager looking at me like I was fucking stupid because I was sorting out the socks... Yeah they were in a big mess and I wasn't doing much till work so yeah I had to do something, I hop on tills to take the queue down a bit then I hop back up the ladders to sort out the socks and by that time he left up stairs to do Managerial work, I was left happily to sort out the socks and other accessories... The day goes by as normal everyone asks me how to do certain things and ask me for the radio since the tills always lose theirs for some reason, by the time that the day is over I get called up but as a reach the top of the stairs I get called straight back down since I got mixed up for one of the shoes staff. When the shop shut we done the usual tidy up with the newstart I was mentoring for a bit she got into a wee bit of trouble for not knowing what to do, and standing about doing nothing. So yeah the Area Manager is a bit of a moany bastard.
So yeah that's what basically happened today, Now to enjoy a 2 day break since my shifts got cut. Oh yeah I found a pound on the shop floor while tidying up so that's now spent on a drink since my throat was killing me lol. I've also grown an addiction to Hirano Aya - God Knows... because of the little guitar licks during the song and just because it's a REALLY catchy song. Yeah that's me.
