Chapter 9: Ethics...
Ok, so here I am reading my book for my Negotiation and Conflict Management class, and I'm trying to figure out how you teach ethics. The title of the chapter is Ethics in Negotiation. How in the world can you teach someone to be ethical?? It seems to me that you're either an ethical person or you're not. Because everyone has a slightly different view point on ethics, I can't believe 40 pages of a book can explain ethics. Sure you can define ethics and try to explain one person's views on ethics, but I can't see how that is anything more than an opinion?
I don't know...maybe I'm just not in the mood to read tonight. I think I'll give up and pick it up again tomorrow.
Other than that, it's been a pretty quiet labor day and that's just the way I'd like it. 4 more classes this week and by 1 PM Wednesday afternoon the school week is over. Other than starting at 8 AM twice a week, I love my school schedule.
