Time for something new
Ok....so I don't know why, maybe it's thinking about Jen and Ang moving to New Jersey, or Yale starting a new job, or the business lives that Will, James, and Tim are living, but whatever it is, I'm really starting to want something new out of life. I'm really not looking forward to school this fall. I've been doing it for 5 years now, I'm ready to be done. The worst part is the city of Lansing/East Lansing is really rather boring when all your friends have moved elsewhere. Not that I'll have much free time this fall, but it would be nice to have SOME people around to enjoy it with. Oh well....
So then I made the mistake of looking at job postings and apartments in the areas I'm looking to work, and that just fueled the need to be done and moved on. Oh well, 6 more months and I'll be ready to move on....just one of those days I think.
On a completely different note, if you enjoy good southern rock with a little blues thrown in (think mixing The Allman Brother, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and B.B. King together), you should definitely check out a group by the name of Gov't Mule. The lead singer/guitar player is Warren Haynes who has played with all of the above acts, Dave Matthews, Widespread Panic, and many others. He's one of the best rock music guitar players around today and was one of the best parts of going to Bonnaroo. I know it's not really the type of music that most of the people reading this go for, but you never know, just throught I'd throw it out there.
