[If one were to pass by the gym and glance inside, they would find Vie. She's bouncing about on the matted floor, practicing fighting motions, flips, turns and going through the actions of general fighting. *Oh hay, Marco was headed to the gym. He hears Vie's post while he's in the elevator, but doesn't bother to reply over the comms. He just waves to her when he enters.*

[Vie looks over from the matted floor and waves back. There's a bit of sweat on her brow and she's a little out of breath, but Vie will recover quickly.]

Marco. I haven't seen you for a while. I trust you're not one of the sick ones?

*He shrugs and pads over to her mats*

*He grins back and moves to take off his boots and remove the kitchen knife from its sheath at his hip.*

[Vie stretches her arms above her head and stands on her tip toes before letting them drop and bouncing back on her feet.]

Ready when you are.

[She tries not to look too excited. Vie's hoping Marco takes her seriously. Or at least puts up a bit of a challenge. Too many people turn her training attempts into games because they don't want to hurt her. It's really starting to grate on her nerves.]

*Despite that, he wasn't planning on going easy on her because she was a girl or possibly fragile. He'd seen enough here to know that didn't really matter.*

[The smile fades and an a focused look takes it's place. Footsteps light, Vie sidesteps around him and lashes out with a strike to his side. She's no real intention of hitting him, but it's a motion to get things going.]

*Marco turns, dodging the strike easily. He strikes out himself, aiming to slam his palm into the elbow of her attacking arm.*

[She sees him coming, and while not early enough to avoid his hit entirely, Vie moves her arm with the blow. The most of the force in Marco's hit is lost. She feels pain for a moment as her shoulder jerks with the hit, but Vie recovers quickly.

Turning with the motion, Vie drops to sweep a leg at his own. She fully intends on knocking them out from beneath him.]

*Marco leaps back from the leg sweep, almost but not entirely dodging it. He remains on his feet, but is rather unbalanced.*
