[The comm clicks on.]
It's come to my attention that however alike some of us may be in appearance, we are not of the same race or world.
Might I ask then, fellow passengers, what are you?
[She voices the question kindly, genuinely curious of those around her. Whatever caution there is of her actually trying to find out if there are any from her world

[She doesn't like his tone at all.]

[Barricade is unhappy. All these slaggin' humans.]

What are you?
[It's a good thing she's not human then.]

[He can relate.]
Oh, nothing special. Your average Giant Alien Robot and all. 'Pparently there are a bunch of us here. 'M one of those.
Fair question, what are you? 'N why you asking to begin with?

[Still cautious, but warming slightly.]
Ah, I met another like you a moment ago. Well, not met-met, but we talked like you and I are now. He was amazing!
[The geek in her is loving this.]
I am Valei. My reasons are my own.

[Slaggin' squishy--or kind-of-squishy probably doesn't know any better.]
Don't listen to them, especially once they start preachin' all that 'freedom' and 'honor' slag. That is, not unless you like hypocrites.
And I kind of assure you; if he was an Autobot? He ain't amazing.
Valei? That your name? [Oh yeah, maybe shouldn't be this much of a jerk. Since you started this convo, Barricade.]
Barricade. Just in case you want to know.

Yes, he used the title autobot, but I do not know his name. His picture appeared on the comm and I assure you he was quite amazing. Polite as well.
My race is Valei. My name is... apparently unpronouncable to most so I go by the title Vie.
Barricade. I will remember that.

[Huffs.]
Don't buy into the polite act. Could tell you about that--how they use that 'but we're your frieeeeeeeends' and 'we're here to help' slag, to come in and take over. Seen it happen.
You seem [said grudgingly] smarter than to fall for that.
[He's a little jealous. Slaggin' Autobots always sticking in and messing things up.]
Can show you what I look like. 'F you want.

Did you know him before this ship? By the sound of it a meeting on board won't exactly go down kindly.
[That he admits she has brains comes as a surprise.]
Please do.

[He was there. He saw it. He knew then what it meant for Cybertron.]
So, just saying not to trust their 'virtue'.
[Hey, she lasted 5 minutes in conversation with him: that's major points!]
Depends on who you met, but possibly met him before. And definitely unimpressed.
Right now. Kind of ugly. Just warning you that you don't have to make some sort of nice comment or anything. [He's under no delusion about his looks, at least.

Ta da. :/

However, I have to wonder what occured to provoke them. In my experiences, actions such as that are rarely done without something to get the ball rolling.
[Vie could talk underwater. She's too curious for her own good.
When the video feed kicks into action, it is not with disgust, but amazement that she replies.]
Red eyes... The other had blue. And I wouldn't say ugly. Intimidating perhaps, but not ugly.
[What's scary to some sure isn't scary to her.]

Guess they didn't want to be safe. And took us all with them.
And yeah, most of them were politicians before the war. Very slick. Lots of time to practice the sales pitch.
[He really wants to know who she met, but doesn't really want to ask.]
[Right. He's put out enough. Time for some return.]
So how'd you end up here?
[If she's not from Earth...what IS the common denominator here?]
Reply
[She likes to get both sides of things, but the mention of politics has her frowning.]
I am sorry you had to go through this though. War is never good, no matter what world.
[She can't say who she met as Ironhide never gave his name.]
I appeared, just the same as everyone else.

[Barricade's getting a bit heated. Being micromanaged or meddled with really torques him off.]
Yeah, well. Kinda too late now, isn't it? I mean...frag. We're all weaponized. I bet that Autobot you talked to was all talking about peace, but if you look? If you ask? Yeah, his hands are no cleaner than mine. Bet he misses his weapons as much as I do.
[Wow, run your mouth much, there, Barricade? Deep cleansing breath]
Sorry. Boring stuff. Probably pointless now, isn't it?
Anyone you know--like from where you're from--here?
[He'll figure this place out if it kills him. It makes a cruel kind of crucible sense: bring a 'con in with a bunch of Autobots, see what happens, etc. Maybe this is a place where enemies meet.]

[Vie's a slave, or was until a few minutes before she appeared on the boat. Being micromanaged and ordered around is nothing new to her.]
He was carrying quite an artillery. I asked what weapons he had and the list was quite long. Wait, you don't have your weapons?
[Her blades were gone when she arrived, but Vie never though anything of it.]
None yet, which is quite confusing considering we look rather alike.
