[Today would be a normal day to some in Mayfield while the are sinister things going on that certain people may know of or may not know of but still had that uneasy feeling. Today, for the magician in blue, would be an abnormal one when he stepped outside for a moment to see a large crowd of drone children at his doorstep in the middle of the ( Read more... )

I'll volunteer.

[She's near the front of the small group all of the sudden.]

[Well at least it's somebody he doesn't mind, so that's one relief. He'll motion her to come up and join him at the very front.]

This one will be my last trick for the day. One that will make this young girl and I disappear right before your eyes... tell me, is there a place you'd like to visit the most in this town?

[Bernkastel walks to the front.]

There are a few places. But I think a surprise would be more interesting.

A surprise? Hrm... alright, I suppose I can do something.

Do you have a fondness of statues?

I suppose that depends on the kind of statue.

[Right at hearing that, he'll shoot a hand out to one of his drone 'children', and slowly their skin and body eventually turning from flesh and blood to a solid rock form. The look of horror and pain was plastered all over the child's face but it happened so fast that he didn't even get a chance to scream.]

The one that only time can create by petrifying a lifeform.

[Bernkastel smiles, slightly.]

Clever trick, and certainly a superior kind of statue.

[He nods and then motions her to the statue of the droned boy.]

Enough to be a surprise is what I wish to know more than anything.

Your powers are interesting. It was novel enough to be entertaining.

[A demon goat--its body is human, but its head is distinctly caprine--appears before the statue and proceeds to devour it. Its teeth appear to be as flat as any herbivore, but it has no trouble with the task.]

A trick in return.

Impressive. A familiar, I'm assuming?

[The demon goat disappears.]

We call them furniture, but the idea is similar. They exist to fulfill the task their summoner sets for them.

A variation of Mystic, Shadow and summoning magic yet sentient on it's own movements compared to leaving as soon as they are summoned from my world after completing a task.

Interesting. And this method of summoning is able to be taught and learned, I hope?

Summoning comes naturally to my type of witch, once another teaches them.

Your type of witch? Since I am assuming that I am not your type if you mean by from your world and definitely not a witch class magic user, it would be difficult to pass this knowledge on then.

This place may place restrictions on passing such knowledge as well. I have never tried teaching it to one with a different type of magic.

[Actually she's never taught it at all, but details.]

That has not deterred me of teaching an amateur magician to learn how to use magic one way or another. However, if you do not wish to then I will leave it at that so neither of us will have our times wasted on me trying to change your mind.
